Remembering Dorothy:

CAFCS board and members were saddened about the retirement and later the death of our longtime friend and colleague,Dorothy Mitstifer. Dorothy served as CAFCS Executive Director for many years. She contributed greatly to our profession and to the opportunities to develop new FCS administrators. She will also be remembered for her commitment to FCS students via Kappa Omicron Nu (KON).

New CAFCS Executive Director:

Lisa Wootton Booth This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. is the new CAFCS Executive Director. Her husband happens to be the webmaster for the CAFCS website since before it was redone years ago. We look forward to continuing our working relationship with KON.

CAFCS Finances:

Although we are continuing to work on strategies to attract more administrators to join CAFCS, our finances are healthy. We made some changes in our investments with Merrill Lynch.
