Harding University invites applicants for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Family & Consumer Sciences in the Department of Family & Consumer Sciences. The position is a full-time, to begin August 2018.
Candidates for the position must have an earned doctorate in Human Development/Child and Family Studies with at least one degree from a family and consumer sciences unit; demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses in child development and family studies including courses required to meet the Arkansas Birth to Five Early Childhood Teaching credential; demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor and advise students; commitment to teamwork, scholarship, and professional involvement including attainment of the Certified in Family and Consumer Sciences (CFCS) credential and the Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) credential.
All candidates should be active members of the church of Christ and demonstrate a commitment to Christian Education. Harding University is a private Christian institution of higher education chiefly supported by the churches of Christ.
